The AIDS pandemic is wiping out leaders from all sections of African society.  generationAFRICA provides a strategic framework to identify and equip Africa’s future leaders from within the orphan generation. Tapping into its extensive partner network across eleven countries it adopts the following proven methods:

Peer education - Helping adolescents like Eugene become agents for positive change amongst their peers

Orphans help orphans - Training young leaders like Desmond to develop community initiatives for orphans like themselves

Scholarships - Funding tertiary education for exceptional young people like Himba

Entrepreneurship & employment - Achieving independence for orphans like Justine through training, start-up loans and work placements

Advocacy – Empowering orphans like Richard to speak for themselves
